The fifth Zhejiang International Health Industry Expo is scheduled to be held in Hangzhou from Aug 29 to 31.

Hosted by the provincial health commission, provincial development and reform commission and provincial economy and information technology department, the expo will include a variety of activities such as product display, senior dialogues, project promotion and academic forums. 

Leading domestic medical institutions will be invited to display their high-tech products designed to improve the health of children, women and seniors, promote business cooperation and provide a chance for the public to experience high-quality healthcare services.

Notably, the expo will feature elements of the Yangtze River Delta for the first time, by holding the first YRD Health Industry Development Forum and inviting academicians from the YRD region to give speeches on 5G, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and bio-pharmaceuticals.

In addition, a live broadcasting room will be set up for industry insiders and medical experts to share their insights into the development of the health industry in the YRD region and Zhejiang's experiences in medical reform.
