The 3rd International Petroleum and Natural Gas Enterprises Conference (IPEC) will be held from Oct 17 to 19 at the international conference center in Zhoushan, according to a news conference on Oct 10 in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

As of Oct 8, 134 foreign enterprises and 117 domestic enterprises had been confirmed to attend the conference, among which 62 are World Top 500 enterprises, said a spokesman at the news conference.

These 251 companies are engaged in more than 20 industries in the petroleum and natural gas industrial chain, including the oil and natural gas trade, chemical industry, maritime service and warehousing service.

The number of guests that will attend the conference has reached 621, among which 135 are high-level guests running major foreign or domestic companies.

According to the spokesmen, the conference consists of a series of activities, including an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, a signing ceremony for major projects, and seven parallel professional forums.

If necessary, the organizing committee will arrange meetings for guests to help negotiate projects.

In addition, the IPEC 2019 will continue to negotiate with giant companies in the petroleum and natural gas industries, and plans to sign over 20 projects with a total investment of 25 billion yuan ($3.52 billion).
