Zhang Haibin is from Zhoushan, an island city in Zhejiang province. He suffers from poliomyelitis.

Zhang started to learn garment making after graduating from junior high school. To improve his skills, Zhang learned suit making from a master in Shanghai in 2000, and practiced at least eight hours a day.

"Making a good suit involves a very complicated process, taking around a month from accepting the order to delivering the suit," said Zhang.

Zhang started his own business by opening a store in Zhoushan in 2002, making suits, dresses and work clothes.

He is now well-known locally, and has set up a high-end suit making store with his master.

"I will try my best to promote the craft and treat every piece of garment as art," said Zhang.
