Wang Xiaozhen is from Chun'an county, Hangzhou and is a deaf-mute.

Wang learned hairdressing in 1998 when she was 18 and has worked at many salons to accumulate experience.

Wang opened her own shop in 2003 with her husband. She has won awards at many hairdressing competitions for the disabled, at municipal, provincial and national levels.

"I don't have any big dream. All I want is to run my shop well and live a happy life with my family," she said.
