The fifth World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention is scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, from Nov 13 to 14, according to a news conference held by the provincial government on Nov 4.

More than 2,700 guests from 67 countries and regions will attend the event, nearly 2,000 of whom will be Zhejiang entrepreneurs.

A total of 124 projects worth more than 300 billion yuan ($42.74 billion) are expected to be signed, focusing on major industries such as digital economy, life sciences, high-end equipment, cultural tourism, energy and environmental protection.

A number of service platforms for Zhejiang entrepreneurs around the world will also be launched, and several outstanding Zhejiang enterprises and entrepreneurs will be awarded.

In addition to the opening ceremony and a forum, there will be 27 supporting activities running from September to November, such as an international industry and energy internet of things conference and a cultural show where employees from Zhejiang private companies will sing songs expressing their love for China.

For the first time, the convention will adopt a digital system for the invitation, registration and check-in of guests.
