A photo exhibition tracing the development of entrepreneurship in Zhejiang opened at the Zhejiang Museum in Hangzhou on Nov 20 and will run until Nov 27.

The exhibition, hosted by the World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs website, Zhejiang Photographers Association and Zhejiang Entrepreneur Photographers Association, is being held in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

"The growth of Zhejiang entrepreneurship is closely connected with the overall development of the nation," said Wang Yongchang, director of the Zhejiang History and Culture Research Institute, at the opening ceremony.

Wang expressed pride at the unbridled spirit displayed by the Zhejiang entrepreneurs in the photos.

"Zhejiang entrepreneurs are not only creating the wealth of today, but also shaping the world of tomorrow," said Wang.

Zhou Yongnan, deputy editor-in-chief of Zhejiang Daily Press Group, also said in his speech that Zhejiang entrepreneurs have played a crucial role in developing China's private economy over the past seven decades.

The exhibition displays hundreds of photos coupled with text descriptions and physical objects, shedding light on some of the most important moments of Zhejiang entrepreneurs. There are also many photos taken by Zhejiang entrepreneurs themselves showcasing the beautiful scenery and daily life in China.

"We hope the exhibition will lead to a greater appreciation for Zhejiang entrepreneurs," said Wu Zongqi, chairman of the Zhejiang Photographers Association.
