The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently announced the top 100 winter travel routes in the country. Four destinations in Zhejiang made the list.

Location: Jiande, a county-level city in Hangzhou

Travel route: downtown Jiande—Strawberry Town—Jiande Greenway

Recommended travel time: two days

Scenic spots:

Strawberry Town

The town covers 3.33 square kilometers and has a strawberry park where visitors can pick strawberries.

Jiande Greenway

The greenway is 18 kilometers long and consists of many bridges and sightseeing stations.

Location: Zhuji, a county-level city in Shaoxing

Travel route: downtown Zhuji—Yuehong Museum—Qianzhuwu Ancient Buildings—Torreya Forest Park (South Park)—Dongbai Mountain

Recommended travel time: two days

Yuehong Museum

The museum is famous for its tea culture and has a 34-hectare tea garden.

Qianzhuwu Ancient Buildings

It is the former residential building complex of Si Yuanru, a wealthy man during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It covers 6,850 square meters and has 118 houses and 132 alleys.

Torreya Forest Park (South Park)

The park consists of four villages, covering nearly 5,000 hectares, all famous for torreya trees. In particular, Kengkou village, covering nearly 600 hectares, has 4,518 torreya trees.

Dongbai Mountain

The main peak of the mountain is nearly 1,200 meters high and is known as the highest peak in eastern Zhejiang.
