The third China-Central and Eastern European Country (CEEC) Expo is scheduled to be held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province from May 16 to 20.

According to the Ningbo Municipal Commerce Bureau, the expo consists of 22 events, including exhibitions, conferences, forums, trade meetings, and cultural activities. A forum focusing on female scientists and an international sailing competition that are set to be held for the first time are the highlights of this year's expo.

This year's exhibition area will be a record 220,000 square meters. The exhibitions are divided into three parts – a CEEC exhibition, an international consumer goods exhibition, and a permanent exhibition for imported goods. A variety of products, such as coffee, roses, cosmetics and artworks, will be displayed.

Ningbo has become a hot spot for products from the CEEC to enter the Chinese market. In 2022, Ningbo’s imports and exports from the CEEC reached 45.04 billion yuan ($6.54 billion). As of the end of last year, two-way investment cooperation between the city and other countries had surpassed $1 billion.
