The torch relay for the Hangzhou Asian Games reached its sixth leg – Zhoushan – today!

Spanning a distance of 10.9 kilometers, the relay route took participants on a memorable journey, commencing at the Shenjiamen Fishing Port, passing through signature landmarks such as the International Aquatic Products Center, the Soccer Park, and Gangdao Bridge, and culminating at the Civil Square.

This leg of the relay featured a diverse group of 170 torchbearers, hailing from different walks of life, and included workers, farmers, and athletes. 

Continuing its journey, the torch will make stops at Taizhou, Wenzhou, Lishui, Jinhua, and Quzhou, before ultimately completing its final leg by returning to Hangzhou on Sept 20.
