Jiaxing shines among Forbes China's top 50 transnational enterprises

Four Jiaxing enterprises, Flat Glass Group Co Ltd, Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co Ltd, Satellite Chemical Co Ltd, and China Jushi Group Co Ltd, were honored by Forbes China as the top 50 Chinese enterprises in transnational operations.

According to Forbes China, the overseas revenue of these 50 enterprises grew by 41 percent in the past year, despite global economic uncertainty. They are mainly engaged in high-value-added and technology-intensive industries such as automobiles, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing.

Flat Glass is one of the world's largest photovoltaic glass manufacturers, with a market share of about 3 percent. It has production bases in Jiaxing, Chuzhou, Nantong, and Vietnam.

Huayou Cobalt is a leading enterprise in the global cobalt industry and in new energy lithium battery materials. It has developed overseas projects in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Indonesia, Zimbabwe and Europe.

Satellite Chemical is a leading domestic chemical new material technology enterprise. Its products are widely used in aerospace, digital chips, new energy vehicles, medical health and other fields and are exported to more than 100 countries and regions around the world.

Jushi is a pioneer in vitalizing the national fiberglass industry. It has set up more than 10 overseas companies, and its products are exported to more than 100 countries and regions in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Jiaxing has established investment and trade relations with 223 countries and regions, and its total imports and exports are valued at 440 billion yuan ($60.36 billion). Its private enterprises have accumulated $19.1 billion in overseas investment.
