Industrial robots have recently found employment on production lines at Wolong Electric Drive Group in Shangyu district, Shaoxing.

This year, Shangyu district has focused on working with leading enterprises like Wolong Electric Drive, emphasizing standardization research. By implementing advanced standards, the district aims to upgrade production equipment, build fully digitalized production lines, and develop green smart factories.

"Standards are crucial for our transition from a traditional industrial enterprise to intelligent manufacturing," said Ruan Guoming, a staff member of Wolong Electric Drive.

Ruan explained that with support and guidance from the district market supervision bureau, Wolong Electric Drive formed a task force to align with core standards for smart factories, intelligent manufacturing, and digital workshops.

In Wolong Electric Drive's factories, industrial robots execute tasks with precision and efficiency, with hardly any human workers visible in the vast workshop. The factory has achieved fully automated, 24-hour unmanned intelligent production.

According to the district market supervision bureau, Shangyu will continue to explore and document typical cases of large-scale equipment upgrades to enhance technological performance, production efficiency, and product quality.
