At the start of 2026, Indonesian graduate Levina Pangkiev chose "connection" as her guiding word — a fitting choice for someone now linking Ningbo's enterprises with the Indonesian market.

After completing her studies at the Ningbo China Institute for Supply Chain Innovation, she joined the Indonesian branch of Ningbo's Southeast Logistics Group, helping Ningbo to expand its overseas logistics network.

In her Jakarta office, Levina handles financial documents sent from Ningbo headquarters, ensuring efficient coordination across borders. "Last year I was still studying in Ningbo. Now I'm helping a Ningbo company explore the Indonesian market," she shared with friends after work. Her role requires her to balance China's efficiency‑driven work style with Indonesia's relationship‑oriented business culture.

As China–Indonesia economic ties deepen, more young Indonesians are choosing to study in China, many of whom later join the overseas branches of Chinese enterprises. Looking ahead, Levina hopes to further strengthen her professional skills, helping make cooperation between Ningbo and Indonesia even smoother.
