At the Embodied Intelligence Industry Exhibition Center in Longyou county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, a bipedal humanoid robot, developed by Zhejiang Jingge Zhihang Technology, performed precise movements like turning and swinging its arms on Jan 12.

The embodied intelligence industry is taking off in Longyou. In October 2024, Longyou hosted the Embodied Intelligence Industry Innovative Development Conference, unveiling the "Youlong No 1" humanoid robot.

Within a year, the county had attracted numerous embodied intelligence firms and showcased the "Qinglong Lite" humanoid robot at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference.

Longyou's focus on the embodied intelligence industry accelerates the aggregation of high-tech companies, forming a compelling embodied intelligence industrial ecosystem.

Established in July 2025 in Longyou county, Jingge Zhihang quickly became an innovation hub, developing quadruped and humanoid robots and integrating into rail transport applications through Guangming Railway Holdings Company.

As the new year begins, Longyou's embodied intelligence industry is gaining new momentum. In Xiaonanhai town, the Embodied Intelligence Robot Headquarters project, based on a total investment in excess of 1.55 billion yuan ($222.36 million), is progressing steadily.

"Once completed, the project will have an annual capacity of 20,000 robots and 200,000 vision sensors, further enhancing the industry chain," said an official of the Longyou county science and technology bureau.
