Located at an altitude of about 1,000 meters in Tong'an district, Xiamen, Fujian province, Junying village and Baijiaoci village have been seeking rural revitalization through e-commerce and tourism.

As the two mountain villages are rich in natural resources, villagers first came up with the idea of selling rural specialty products. Junying village opened the city's first rural Taobao store in 2016, marking the beginning of the remote village's e-commerce exploits.

Led by Su Haiting, deputy Party secretary of Junying village, the village set up an online service platform for agriculture, culture and tourism on April 22 to further boost livestreaming sales of the village's agricultural produce.
