Fujian Day of China Pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai kicked off on Feb 22, showcasing Fujian cultural heritages, and its commercial environment and scientific and technological achievements.

The event's offline location was Fuzhou, the provincial capital of Fujian, and it was linked online with the China Pavilion in Dubai to showcase a new image of Fujian to the world.

Guests at the opening ceremony watched a promotional film about Fujian Day, visited the China Pavilion online, and witnessed the establishment of strategic cooperation.

Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Department, Fujian Provincial Commerce Department, and Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism presented the construction of the Maritime Silk Road's core area, scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship, the province's advantages in industries, economy, and trade, as well as Fujian's environment, culture, and tourism during the promotion and exchange session.

The Expo 2020 Dubai marks the first expo held in the Middle East.

"Build a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind - Innovation and Opportunity" is the theme of the China Pavilion. It has four exhibition areas showcasing China's achievements in space exploration, information technology, contemporary transportation, artificial intelligence, and intelligent life, making it one of the largest foreign pavilions in terms of area.
