The first Fujian Consumer Products Expo, which highlights diverse "Fu" culture and showcases a variety of high-quality products from Fujian province, kicked off on Dec 29 in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province.

The event, which runs from Dec 29 to 31, features an opening ceremony where the launch of a series of shopping promotion activities in Fujian was announced and a 50,000-square-meter exhibition with nearly 2,000 booths in six exhibition areas.

The expo has attracted nearly 1,000 exhibitors to display local food, tea, agricultural products, handicrafts, and tourism resources, and nearly 10,000 people visited the exhibition on the first day.

Three professional exhibitions are also being held during the event, including the second China Processed Food Industry Expo, the 2022 Fuzhou Tea Industry Expo and the 2022 Fujian National Products Guochao Expo.

Livestreaming marketing activities are another highlight at the expo. A large screen was set up to promote products and around 100 livestreamers participated in e-commerce activities. A "Live Broadcast Gallery" was also set up for MCN (multi-channel network) operators from across Fujian to stage livestreaming events.

In addition, online access to visit the exhibitions is available. Through the expo's official video account, professional hosts introduce exhibitors and exhibits to online audiences.
