The 11th Straits Youth Day Summit took place in Fuzhou, Fujian province, on Aug 10.

The summit, which was one of the main highlights of this year's Straits Youth Day, was attended by over 1,000 guests, including 600 young people from Taiwan.

The summit, co-hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the All-China Youth Federation, and the People's Government of Fujian Province, was aimed at fostering connections and exchanges among the younger generation from across the Strait.

The summit brought together experts and scholars from both sides of the Strait to discuss cross-Strait integration and development. They also shared their experiences and practices and encouraged young people to work towards national rejuvenation and the Chinese dream.

To showcase the achievements of cross-Strait youth collaboration, the summit selected several "Strait youth teams" to demonstrate their involvement in various fields, such as culture and sports, rural vitalization, and talent education.

The summit also included interactive sessions that highlighted cultural and sports exchanges and integration. Participants shared stories of their involvement in rural vitalization and the opportunities provided for studying on the Chinese mainland through the "joint examination" system. Students who participated in cross-Strait youth exchanges also shared their experiences and thoughts.

The summit also featured performances that incorporated elements of street dance, rap, martial arts, and national pride.

The summit concluded with the performance of the original theme song Youth Strait sung by young people from both sides of the Strait.
