The first Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development is being held from Dec 20 to 22 in Fuzhou, Fujian province, featuring discussions among overseas Chinese intellectuals. The event serves as a major platform for the sharing of technological achievements in the Belt and Road Initiative, supporting technological revolution and industrial upgrading in China.

Attendees include overseas Chinese experts and technical personnel, overseas professional associations, and representatives of overseas Chinese businessmen. The conference is meant to become an internationally renowned, high-level gathering that focuses on overseas Chinese talent and economic development in key sectors.

The activity system of the conference is set to "1+4+N", comprising an opening ceremony and a main forum, and 17 important activities led by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Fujian province, Fuzhou city and the host and guest institutions at four levels, including industry docking, mass entrepreneurship and innovation competition, special forums, and more. 

The organizers have curated a diverse range of activities, including industry-focused academic exchanges, showcases of innovative achievements, the announcement of entrepreneurship and innovation policies, and more, to present a global innovation event centered on overseas Chinese.
