The "A Date with China · Meets Fujian" International Media Tour 2024 will kick off on May 16 in Shishi, Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province. With the theme "Developing New Quality Productive Forces, Sharing Chinese Opportunities", the event invites media reporters, online influencers, experts, and scholars from diverse countries and regions to explore and report on multiple cities across China.

The event has been successfully held for three consecutive years, with this year's event to focus on providing an immersive experience. International guests will engage with manufacturing enterprises, cultural heritage sites, multi-ethnic communities, and other locales, collaborate with local industry professionals, and experience life in China firsthand. Through livestreams, vlogs, and micro-documentaries, participants will share their personal insights, emotions, and reflections.

This year's event will feature three distinct routes. Starting May 16, route one will see participants visiting Fujian's Quanzhou and Zhangzhou, where they will conduct on-site research on the achievements of China-Europe economic and trade cooperation. They will also learn about practices where new quality productive forces empower high-quality development, China's technological prowess in manufacturing and smart manufacturing, and the integration of the cultural and tourism industries in ancient cities.
