Conference unveils array of digital innovations

The Artificial Intelligence and Data Factors Industrial Ecology Conference, a key part of the seventh Digital China Summit, took place on May 23 at the Fuzhou Digital China Convention and Exhibition Center.

Titled "New Factors, New Technologies, New Models", the conference gathered 2,000 experts, industry leaders, and ecosystem partners nationwide to explore the latest advancements and future trends in artificial intelligence, data elements, digital government, and the digital economy. The goal was to accelerate the unlocking of data element value, develop new quality productive forces, and promote the development of the digital industry.

Data, as a pivotal production factor, serves as the foundational resource for building a digital China and is essential for fostering new quality productive forces. The event highlighted significant innovative achievements related to data elements, aiming to empower economic and social development.

During the conference, the public data zone on the Fujian Big Data Exchange was officially launched, encompassing 26 industrial sectors such as market supervision, transportation, and financial services. The zone is among the three largest such zones in the country.

Furthermore, the Fujian Data Asset Operation Service Center was inaugurated, becoming the first center of its kind anywhere in the country. It offers enterprises one-stop services including data asset verification, registration, evaluation, trading, and financing, facilitating the conversion of data resources into valuable assets and funds.

Additionally, the conference announced the second Fujian Province Big Data Group Data Application and Development Contest, which is aimed at fostering innovative data applications and maximizing the value of data elements. The upgraded contest invites talent nationwide to participate in developing and utilizing data elements effectively.

Fujian Big Data Group revealed a joint investment with Shanghai Greattown Holdings Limited and Shanghai Shangchou Technology to establish the 2000P intelligent computing center platform. This platform is set to significantly boost computing power in Southeast China and increase the supply of diverse computing resources.

The conference continued to emphasize project cooperation. Nearly a hundred companies and organizations from Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Zhejiang, Hong Kong, and other regions nationwide participated in the signing of key collaborative projects in the industrial ecosystem. They reached preliminary agreements on 57 cooperation projects covering areas such as government, university-research integration, data elementization, digital governance, and vertical industry data application scenarios.
