On June 25, a Xiamen cultural tourism promotion event were held in Cairo, capital of Egypt, with over 150 guests from both China and Egypt in attendance.

China and Egypt recently issued a joint statement on deepening their comprehensive strategic partnership and declared this year as the 2024 Egypt-China Year of Partnership.

As the inaugural event of the Egypt-China Year of Partnership, this gathering invited guests from various sectors in Egypt to enjoy tea, appreciate art, and discuss the promising future of China-Egypt friendship. Tea masters skillfully presented the flavors of Tieguanyin tea, Jasmine tea, Fujian black tea, and Wuyi rock tea.

Guests relished the tea’s clear and fragrant essence. The event also effectively showcased Chinese traditional culture and Xiamen's cultural tourist attractions through physical displays and images.

In recent years, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Egypt has flourished, yielding fruitful results in various areas of cooperation, with cultural exchanges growing increasingly close.
