The Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the selection of 1,550 key provincial projects for 2025, with a total investment of 4.3 trillion yuan ($593.56 billion) and a planned annual investment of 715 billion yuan.

The key projects to be undertaken in East China's Fujian province encompass a wide range of sectors including agriculture, forestry, water conservation, transportation, energy and social welfare.

Of these, some 1,345 projects are currently under construction and 205 are under preparation.

Several projects have attracted significant attention, such as the Wenzhou-Fuzhou High-Speed Railway, the Xiamen-Zhangzhou-Quanzhou Intercity Rail Line R1 and Longyan new airport.

Efforts will be focused on advancing the construction of the projects, putting in place hierarchical management, ensuring interdepartmental coordination for resources and on solidly promoting the construction of key projects.
