Guiyang's strawberry-picking routes for berry lovers

It's the strawberry season again, and Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is the perfect destination for strawberry lovers. With a variety of farms to explore, visitors can discover and pick all kinds of strawberries.

Huaxi district

Many strawberry farms in Huaxi district use smart farming techniques, ensuring high-quality and best-tasting strawberries. Some farms even offer family-friendly recreational facilities, so parents can enjoy picking strawberries while keeping their kids entertained.

Wudang district

As a major strawberry-picking hub, Wudang district boasts numerous strawberry farms. With many large-scale farms offering a variety of high-quality strawberries, each bite is a burst of tangy sweetness – making it impossible to stop at just one! After you're done picking strawberries, you can explore nearby scenic spots for an even more enjoyable experience.

Guanshanhu district / Baiyun district

The strawberry farm in Wengjing village, Guanshanhu district, spans over 30 mu (2 hectares) with an expected yield of more than 30,000 kilograms. Harvest season lasts from early November to around June the following year. Baiyun district's Niuchang township has over 100 mu of strawberries just a half-hour drive away, offering plenty of opportunities for picking.
