Yunwu Mountain is 1,659 meters tall and the highest peak in Baiyun district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. Known for its perpetual clouds and mist, the mountain transforms into a breathtaking wonderland each winter. The stunning combination of rime ice, soft snowfall, distant mountains, and drifting clouds creates an ethereal, magical atmosphere that attracts visitors from all over.

Best Time to Visit
Plan your visit between December and February to experience the rime at its peak. Early mornings and late afternoons offer the softest, most flattering light – perfect for capturing the stunning rime.
Hiking Routes
Route 1: Drive to the Shilong village committee and park in the nearby lot. From there, walk along the paved road toward the sand extraction site. Take the left path at the fork and continue to the reservoir dam. Follow the small trail from the dam or bypass it to the left to reach the summit.
Route 2: Go to Baiyan village and park near the Yinxing Mountain Villa sign. Then, follow the path next to the villa, which will join Route 1.
Important Tips
1. Always check the weather forecast before heading out. Avoid visiting during freezing or extreme cold conditions.
2. For safety, travel with a group and wear warm, non-slip gear – down jackets, gloves, hats, and hiking boots are a must.
3. Keep the environment clean by disposing of trash properly and respecting nature.
