Zhejiang Yuxiang Vocational & Technical College made the list of higher vocational colleges released by the Ministry of Education in July, 2020.

This means the school is now nationally recognized as a college.

Founded in 1984, the school was formerly a branch of Huzhou Vocational and Technical College in Anji county. In 2018, it was approved by the provincial government to be restructured into a higher vocational college. In January 2020, the school passed evaluation and acceptance by the Zhejiang University Establishment and Evaluation Committee.

The school is a non-profit full-time private higher vocational school funded by Anji Yuxiang Education Development Co Ltd.

It will cover an area of more than 700 mu (46.67 hectares). Construction is divided into two phases, the first of which covers an area of 160,000 square meters and has already begun operations.

The school now has 3,000 students and more than 10 majors, including accounting, international trade, logistics management, tourism management, visual communication design and production, e-commerce, business English and industrial robotics.

The second phase of the school, which is undergoing construction, covers an area of 300 mu. After its completion, it will be able to accommodate more than 12,000 full-time students.
