Hohhot hosts China-Mongolia leadership summit

A bilateral summit brought officials from China and Mongolia to Hohhot on Sept 26 to discuss industrial collaboration and cultural exchanges to further relationships.
The summit, as part of the 2nd China-Mongolia Expo, was attended by Li Jiheng, secretary of Inner Mongolia Party Committee; Bu Xiaolin, chairwoman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government; and Sanjmyatav, vice-chairman of the State Great Khural (State Great Assembly), the unicameral parliament of Mongolia.
The expo is being held with the support of China’s Ministry of Commerce; the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia; and the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
With a theme of mutually beneficial cooperation between China, Mongolia and Russia; the expo includes four parts –– trade and investment negotiations, seminars, a technological exhibition and cultural performances.
