Inner Mongolia receives 3.59m visits during Dragon Boat Festival holiday

During this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 3 to 5, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region experienced a tourism peak.
Over a three-day period, a total of 3.59 million trips were made to Inner Mongolia, generating a total of 1.55 billion yuan ($232.56 million) in tourism revenue.
Around 3.19 million one-day tours were carried out in the region, along with 397,900 overnight trips.

Due to the lingering impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, around 98.02 percent of the visitors were from Inner Mongolia, while only 1.98 percent were from outside the region.
During the holiday, traditional festive activities were held to promote traditions and entertain tourists.
