The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai on Nov 5.

The commerce department of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region arranged for 31 companies from 12 leagues and cities to participate, focusing on showcasing high-quality agricultural and livestock, cultural and creative, and industrial products from the region.

"The CIIE provides us with a platform to showcase, promote and introduce Inner Mongolia to the world. With the help of this platform, we are organizing several investment and trade negotiation activities, and we hope to achieve fruitful results in the coming days," said Xu Hao, director of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Investment and Cooperation Promotion Center.

The Inner Mongolia exhibition area at this year's CIIE covers an area of 405 square meters, following a "3+12" booth planning layout.

The "3" refers to the overall image display area of Inner Mongolia, the "Inner Mongolia Flavor" tasting zone, and the investment promotion and consultation service zone.

The "12" represents the 12 leagues and cities across the region, showcasing their cultural heritage, industrial characteristics, business environment, as well as city and league brands.

At the Inner Mongolia Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Area, Du Yemei, an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting project at the autonomous region level, is showing some paper-cutting works that contain elements from the CIIE and the 14th National Winter Games.

"I am very happy to be able to showcase my paper-cutting works at the CIIE, and I hope to better inherit the intangible cultural heritage of paper-cutting skills," Du said.

As the 14th National Winter Games approaches, she warmly welcomes everyone to Hulunbuir, the host city, to experience the charm of ice and snow.

Additionally, the "Inner Mongolia Flavor" tasting area is filled with enticing aromas, attracting a large number of guests to come and taste these regional delicacies.
