Located on the bank of Taihu Lake, Jiangsu Digital Information Park was established by the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen and Wuxi Municipal Government in September, 2008.
It is administrated and supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology and State Environmental Protection Administration, with its construction and administration project listed in the Priority Development Planning.

Located at the center of Wuxi Huishan Economic Development Zone, the Wuxi (Huishan) Life Science & Technology Industrial Park is located in northern Wuxi, occupying an area of 90 hectares and a building area of 72 hectares. The green space and water surface ratio are 32% and 6% respectively.
Composed of three parts, the industrial park, logistics park and administrative & business area, the Yixing Economic Development Zone has attracted 719 companies including BAES of USA, NAKANO, Maeda and Marubeni of Japan, Akzo Nobel of the Netherlands, Saha-Union Group of Thailand, Nobilia of Italy, U-right and SRO of HongKong, Tainan Enterprises of Taiwan, Shanghai Baosteel Group and Shenzhen Continent Group.
The Wuxi Economic Development Zone in southern Wuxi borders the downtown area to the north and Taihu Lake to the south.
Since established in February 1993, it has been engaged in tourism as its dominant industry and has contributed to the industrial economy by introducing high-tech, non-polluting and environment-friendly projects, ensuring the coordinated development of both the industrial economy and tourism industry.
