Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province, will spend 38 billion yuan ($5.57 billion) this year to improve its transportation infrastructure.
Kunming reported foreign trade of 199.74 billion yuan ($28.5 billion), surging 16.4 percent year on year, in 2022.
Kunming's total industrial output surpassed 500 billion yuan (about $73.8 billion) in 2022, up eight percent year-on-year.
Duobao Cable Group will build the industrial park in the Kunming National High-tech Industries Development Zone, with an investment of around one billion yuan.
Given its advantageous location, Kunming will launch the 6th Yunnan International Talent Exchange Conference on Nov 12.
