Qidong shipyard makes revenue of over 2b yuan in 2021

Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore and Engineering Co Ltd, located in the county-level city of Qidong in Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province, also known as CIMC SOE, is said to have received numerous orders with a value of nearly 3 billion yuan ($474.3 million).

In 2021, the company broke the record for the number of fuel tanks it completed and delivered, including the world's largest 12,300-cubic-meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) tank. The sales revenue for the year exceeded 2 billion yuan.

CIMC SOE, a domestic leader in the field of small and medium-sized vessels for liquefied gas, has rich experience in designing and building gas carriers. It is committed to providing eco-friendly and technologically innovative liquefied gas transportation solutions for its clients.

At present, it has built and shipped over 40 vessels that transport liquefied petroleum gas, liquefied ethylene gas, and LNG establishing a leading global market share in its sector.
