Two enterprises from Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently made the 2022 list of national green factories released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

China Tianying Inc, a company that specializes in waste-incineration power generation, was honored for ensuring that its research and development, product design, processing and manufacturing, and installation and application processes are sustainable.

Nantong Double Great Textile Co Ltd, which has set up a management team for green manufacturing, is the other recipient of the honor.

Hai'an is currently home to one national green industrial park and four national green factories. The city also has one national green product.

Green manufacturing, or green production, refers to the use of environmentally friendly manufacturing solutions that reduce the amount of waste produced.
