Nantong, a dynamic city in Jiangsu province, made remarkable progress over the past year.

The construction of the transportation facilities in the city for the Yangtze River Delta integration has made substantial progress with three cross-river roads entering main construction.

Local authorities issued 66 measures in April to improve business environment and launched an online platform in May to issue and interpret policies for local businesses.

Nantong shined a spotlight on innovation last year. The YRD National Technological Innovation Center announced settlement of its first branch center in Nantong and China's first intelligent cotton spinnery in the city reached production target.

Blue skies and clear waters continued to be the usual scene in the city. As a result, local official was invited to share the city's practice in restoring good environment and protecting local environment at the High-level Forum on Green Development during the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
