Nantong Langshan Mountain 2025 Lantern Festival set to open
The highly anticipated 2025 Lantern Festival at Langshan Mountain scenic area in Nantong will open to visitors on Jan 15.
In addition to the stunning and creative lantern displays, the festival will feature traditional cultural activities such as Datiehua (molten iron performance) and fire pot demonstrations.
Visitors will also have the chance to explore a bustling festival market offering sugar painting, traditional snacks, and a variety of other intangible cultural heritage experiences. This unique combination allows guests to enjoy delicious food while immersing themselves in the charm of Chinese traditions.
The festival will run until Feb 16, with daily opening hours from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Events and displays will be centered around the area between the north gate of Langshan Mountain scenic area to the Yuanbo Park viewing platform.
