In 2024, the district's 23 large-scale shipbuilding and offshore enterprises achieved a total output value of 17.03 billion yuan ($2.34 billion), marking a 23.1 percent year-on-year increase.

These companies accounted for 14.2 percent of the total industrial output value of large-scale enterprises in the district during the same period.
