The 2019 Symposium on the China Newsprint Market convened in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 31.

The event was sponsored by the China Newspaper Association and attended by Deng Xiaofeng, deputy secretary-general of the China Association for the Newspaper Industry, Lyu Yunping, secretary-general of the Inner Mongolia Association for the Newspaper Industry, Su Cuifang, director of the Ordos publicity department, and representatives from newsprint associations from across the country.

Attendees were briefed on the development of the newsprint industry in China and other parts of the world over the past half year. 

The symposium also offered attendees a platform to discuss the outlook of the newsprint industry.

Su expressed hope that the China Newspaper Association would hold more activities in Ordos and help promote the city. 

She extended an invitation to all media organizations, hoping they would visit Ordos and experience the cultural uniqueness of the city for themselves.
