In 2022, Bazhong, Sichuan province, went all out to promote economic construction and development, seeing the private economy resume development.

According to the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics, Bazhong's private economy in 2022 realized an added value of 43.34 billion yuan ($6.39 billion), accounting for 56.7% of the regional GDP, an increase of 0.1% over the previous year.

Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 6.57 billion yuan, an increase of 4.0%; the added value of the secondary industry was 17.23 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.3%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 19.54 billion yuan, an increase of 0.1%.
