The local government rewarded units and individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in promoting the development of the cultural tourism and health industry in the city throughout the year. 

A total of 131 awards were given out, involving a total amount of 6.40 million yuan ($897,158.40).

In order to advance the development of the cultural tourism and health industry, Bazhong twice introduced incentive measures to support this sector in 2021, with a total of 18 reward measures.

These measures mainly support the implementation of major cultural tourism projects and the development of leading enterprises in the industry, covering the creation of cultural tourism brands, incentives for attracting tourists to Bazhong, support for the development of local guesthouses, and the promotion of research, production, and sale of cultural tourism products, as well as of cultural tourism consumption. They also support the creation of cultural works, the improvement of the skills of cultural tourism practitioners, the integration of the cultural tourism industry, and the promotion of smart cultural tourism construction.
