On January 23, BashiGO, an online agricultural products trading platform in Bazhong, Sichuan, was launched.
The platform is jointly developed by Bazhong Supply and Marketing Cooperative's wholly-owned enterprise, Bashibashi Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., and the Bazhong branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, under the supervision of the Bazhong Municipal Bureau of Commerce.
As a comprehensive e-commerce platform, BashiGO primarily integrates four major functions: bulk commodity procurement, the showcasing and sale of products made and produced in Bazhong, local urban life services, and consumer support extension.
The platform aims to leverage the product advantages of Bazhong, comprehensively enhance the public brand value of Bashibashi and create a concentrated showcase and sales aggregation effect.
"The launch of the BashiGO platform will undoubtedly inject new impetus and vitality into the rapid development of the Bashibashi regional public brand across the city, providing a new engine for expanding consumption and contributing to the realization of large-scale agricultural management and the promotion of rural revitalization," said Liu Yu, secretary of the Party committee and director of the Council of Bazhong Supply and Marketing Cooperative.
Liu further added that the BashiGO e-commerce platform will establish the goal of creating a "century-old store," leveraging the advantages of online communication, amplifying channel effects, strengthening deep cooperation with product suppliers, distributors, and service providers, and collectively promoting the export of Bazhong's agricultural specialty products nationwide and even internationally.
On the same day, three sets of the Bashibashi series of tourism product gift boxes were unveiled on-site. Furthermore, in order to ensure product quality, BashiGO platform hired three quality supervisors on-site, and five platform merchants representatives signed a commitment to guarantee product quality.
