During this year's May Day holiday, from May 1 to May 5, Bazhong Railway Station will add four night train services to facilitate passenger travel.

With the convergence of student travel, tourism and spring agricultural work during the May Day holiday, passenger flow is expected to be at a high level. Bazhong Railway Station expects daily passenger traffic to increase by 90% to 100% compared with regular days. To proactively manage the high passenger flow, from April 30th to May 6th, the station will add four night train services to meet the travel needs.

The night trains stopping at Bazhong Railway Station are as follows:

·Train C938 from Chengdu East to Bazhong, departing Chengdu East Station at 02:59 and arriving at Bazhong Station at 06:58

·Train C937 from Bazhong to Chengdu East, departing Bazhong Station at 22:38 and arriving at Chengdu East Station at 02:37

·Train C986 from Chengdu East to Bazhong, departing Chengdu East Station at 03:10 and arriving at Bazhong Station at 07:16

·Train C985 from Bazhong to Chengdu East, departing Bazhong Station at 22:56 and arriving at Chengdu East Station at 02:48

To address the peak passenger flow, Bazhong Railway Station will dynamically adjust the number of ticket windows, security checkpoints and ticket validation channels based on passenger flow, ensuring that passengers can enter and exit the station quickly without overcrowding.

The station will also enhance coordination with the urban transportation department of Bazhong to increase the deployment of buses and taxis.

The station will conduct comprehensive maintenance and upgrades of ticketing and automatic ticket validation equipment before the holiday to ensure the smooth operation of the high passenger flow.

Special attention will be given to key passengers such as those who are not familiar with smartphone usage and elderly individuals. Extra staff will be deployed at entrance and exit points as well as platforms to provide face-to-face assistance and guidance for key passengers regarding information, ticket purchase and boarding and alighting.
