Qingdao is set to host its first high-flying balloon art exhibition from Nov 14, 2025, to Jan 4, 2026, at the Tsingtao Haitian View & Art Center in Shinan district. Renowned artist Bernie will create a giant rainbow cat using 10,000 balloons.

Held on the 80th floor of the art center, the exhibition will feature immersive installations against the backdrop of Qingdao's stunning city skyline. Highlights include a giant cat and the Adorable Explorer breaking through a wall. Early-bird tickets are priced at 28 yuan ($3.93).

The exhibition will transform memory fragments into soft, balloon-textured art, creating a heart-touching resonance for visitors.
