Tsingtao Beer joins hands with century-old Pewter Brand for global debut of limited Master Cup

There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes, and there are just as many ways to drink beer. But today, the sense of ritual that belongs uniquely to beer has been given a new definition.
On Dec 5, the Tsingtao Beer Museum and Royal Selangor, Malaysia's century-old premium pewter brand, unveiled a grand celebration of cultural fusion between East and West in Qingdao.
In addition to signing a strategic cooperation agreement, the two traditional brands introduced a groundbreaking creation – the "Master legacy cup: tin infused with beer aroma", limited to only 300 sets worldwide.
This Master Cup is more than a product – it represents a rich dialogue between two century-old brands, grounded in shared aesthetics and cultural spirit.
Its form draws on Royal Selangor's generational mastery of relief work, etching, and chiseling. Every detail is more than decoration – it is a carving of intertwined cultural codes.
Most remarkable, however, is how it scientifically reshapes the tasting experience.
Tin's superior thermal conductivity locks in the beer's icy freshness within moments, keeping it at its optimal tasting temperature. The cup's exceptionally smooth interior helps activate and sustain a dense, creamy-white head, amplifying the malt aroma and layered richness of every sip.
This collaboration is the second major release in the Tsingtao Beer Museum's Decade of Master Legacy Cups series.
In an interview, Museum Director Sun Ji noted: "This project is an important vehicle for exploring the integration of traditional Chinese culture with world civilizations, and marks a key step forward in working with international brands to shape a global expression."
Dato' Yong Yoon Li, managing director of Royal Selangor International, remarked: "This is a vivid expression of the belief that 'pewter is art', and the finest testament to how Eastern and Western craftsmanship elevate one another."
This Master Cup – carrying the mission of cultural convergence – along with its related products, will be available at the Tsingtao Beer Museum, high-end shopping malls nationwide, and the official online flagship stores of both brands.
A single cup not only delights beer lovers – it builds a bridge of cultural dialogue within the palm of one's hand.
