Haowa Pedestrian Street in the Qingdao West Coast New Area has made history as Shandong province's first "heated commercial block", debuting a warm outdoor environment to combat the winter chill. The street has installed 10 tower heaters and a realistic simulated bonfire at its entrance, providing warmth daily from 17:30 pm to 20:30 pm. This innovative measure ensures that visitors can enjoy the vibrant nightlife comfortably, even during the coldest months.

Spanning 400 meters and hosting over 200 vendors, the street is one of the area's oldest and most influential night markets. Its rich commercial heritage and diverse offerings have established it as a cornerstone of the local community. To celebrate its status as a premier nighttime destination, the business district of the street has announced a massive year-end party scheduled for Dec 31.

The upcoming festivities promise an immersive sensory experience, featuring live music, magic shows, "red envelope rain showers", and a large-scale balloon release. Adding to the excitement, the popular "Electronic Music Bus" — complete with a dance floor — and mobile performance vehicles will make a limited-time return to the street.

This initiative is more than just a seasonal promotion; it is a warm gathering designed to dispel the winter cold and foster a sense of community.

By blending traditional market culture with modern heating technology and festive entertainment, Haowa Pedestrian Street invites everyone to bid a spirited farewell to the year. Whether you are looking for a high-energy rave or a cozy night out, the surprises are ready and waiting for you at this landmark celebration.
