This year’s Pan Delta Super Racing Festival rose to a crescendo of excitement at the grand final of the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival Autumn Race on Sept 18. Guo Guoxin and Huang Xizhan won respectively the titles of Circuit Hero One and Circuit Hero Two.

The two-days of races took place at the Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) in Jinding, Tangjiawan Town. This festival was the third of a trio, the others held in spring and summer. Featuring a large number of professionals and luxury race cars along with hot models, the race attracted a vast number of fans.

In the second race at Circuit Hero One GT3, Guo Guoxin enjoyed a good start followed by Huang Xizhan, Chen Hongwei, Liu Peng, and Su Yingkang. Guo’s Benz SLS still led the course after several warm-up laps, but was threatened by an Audi R8 and a 911. Huang took the first position later in the race but was overtaken by Guo in the final lap, coming in second. It was the third time in a row for Guo to dominate the race, and both performances won glory for the D2 team. Third place went to Chen Hongwei, with Liu Pengwei only a second for fourth.

The afternoon’s Circuit Hero Two A2 class gathering of 38 decorated vehicles offered a treat for modified car lovers. It featured a low entry threshold for vehicles and drivers. Performances from familiar types such as GTI and FD2 showcased a high level of tuning and modification. Chen Bingxiong claimed first while Kuang Canwei and Che Liang placed second and third.

The annual Pan Delta Super Racing Festival, organized by ZIC Motorsports and first staged in 2005, has garnered huge popularity among drivers, riders, and fans.
