The 2nd Zhuhai International Animation Games Toys Expo is expected to attract hoards of enthusiasts to the Nov 24-27 show at the International Exhibition & Conference Center in Shizimen.

With more than 300 booths covering 10,000 sq m, this will be the largest animation expo to be held in Zhuhai, and with the most exhibitors.

The four-day event will encompass animation, forum, food, living, and games, featuring exhibitors from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. 

The animation zone will have themed pavilions such as B•Rubber Duck, Dragon Ball Z, Idol Memories, YoukuTudou animation, and Iron Man. A League of Legends and illustration contest have already seen more than a thousand sign up.

MIKU, a singing character which is generated using holographic and virtual reality technology, will stage her first performance in Zhuhai. Japanese Enka Girls Lupinus Class will sing anime songs.

Deng Ziying, secretary general of the Asian Comic & Animation Culture Association, said the festival had been held in Macao for seven years as a brand exhibition, offering rich experiences. The expo, now in Zhuhai, has drawn a large number of overseas exhibitors and enthusiasts, marking the success of MICE cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, she pointed out.
