Happy days are here again for Zhuhai

Zhuhai is listed once again among the 10 happiest cities in China, according to survey results released in Beijing on Dec 1.
Chengdu in Sichuan Province came out as the happiest, followed by Hangzhou, Nanjing, Xi’an, Changchun, Changsha, Suzhou, Zhuhai, Beijing, and Shanghai.
The survey is conducted by Oriental Outlook magazine published by Xinhua News Agency and the Blue Book of Cities in China compiled by the China Association of Mayors. It has become one of the country’s most influential and authoritative urban surveys and promotional activities. The survey has been undertaken 10 times, soliciting the opinions of 900 million people in all.

Under the theme of People’s Sense of Gain, the survey collected opinions and sampled big data among 11.28 million people. After appraisal by the organizing committee, the evaluation was completed by the Outlook Think Tank of Xinhua News Agency.
The rankings are based on the advice of domestic and overseas specialists and scholars, and collected data and 50 indicators in 16 categories, including income, quality of life, tourism, employment, environment, public security, education, and transport.
