Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

The Zhuhai satellite venue of the 15th Guangdong Seed Expo grandly opened at TW Farmer Pioneer Park in Jinwan District on Dec 29 and will run through Feb 11. 

Gathered are hundreds of exotic flowers and herbs, and brand-name, high-quality new crop varieties. On display are the latest modern agricultural technologies, and frontier science and achievements during development of the seed industry.

As the site of the seed expo, the TW Farmer Pioneer Park has been in rapid development in recent years and highly acknowledged for its achievements. Its total planning area is 3,000 hectares, with 510.33 core hectares and 2,466.67 surrounding hectares. 

The exhibition site is divided into four parts: orchids, chrysanthemums, flowers in season, and vegetables. 

A good choice for locals to spend leisure time, the expo also offers vegetable picking and sales of brand-name and well-known characteristic agricultural products. Guests and visitors can buy quality farm produce and gifts at the specially arranged sales exhibition area. 

On the same day, the Zhuhai Research Demonstration Base of the National Engineering Research Center of Plant Space Breeding was officially unveiled, and the exhibition, detection and experiment complex of the Guangdong (Zhuhai) Modern Seed Development Center came under construction.
