After receiving high acclaim with their latest intelligent portable charger for electric vehicles at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 in Las Vegas on Jan 5, Zhuhai Lcola Technology intends to focus on both the domestic and US markets.

Founded and headquartered in Xiangzhou, Zhuhai, Lcola has engaged in proprietary R&D for electric vehicle charging technology since 2015.

The company has been making constant improvements to make a standardized and intelligent platform with a strong researching capacity. Lcola also specializes in the promotion of EV charging facilities, and the technical development of smart-vehicle identification and data security.

According to Li Xiang, general manager of the company, Lcola has produced an intelligent portable battery charger for electric vehicles. This followed the issuing of a patent by the State Intellectual Property Office of the PRC after several international standard security tests were passed. The charger accommodates most brands of intelligent vehicles and can directly charge via a 220V civil electric socket. With the company's core technology, consumers can view the current charging status of a vehicle's battery via a proprietary cell phone app. 

The company has also developed a cell phone app for finding and booking the nearest parking space with a charging pile. Through Smart Parking Lock, non-electric vehicles won't be able to occupy parking spots with charging piles. 

"Our intelligent vehicle software platform is now at the same starting line as the US. We hope to develop a type of smart car software with superior quality through our efforts," said Li. 

Li is also confident in the company's short-term goals. She revealed that the potable battery charger has obtained a trademark registration in over 30 countries and regions, with hopes to cover the international market by the end of this year. 

The Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment & Operation Platform Communication Protocol Standards jointly compiled by Zhuhai Lcola Technology and other institutions is soon to put into effect nationwide.
