A bountiful harvest of fruit is being enjoyed by visitors to the Taiwan Farmers Venture Park in Pingsha Town of Jinwan District, according to the Zhuhai Marine, Agriculture & Water Bureau.

Wax apples ripen 

The park's 13.3-hectare Wax Apple Zone with five varieties under cultivation is the largest cultivation base of Taiwanese apples in Zhuhai. Experts predicted that each tree would produce at least 75 kg of sweet high-quality wax apples this year.  

Farmer harvests wax apples 

The park has imported 48 varieties of fruits and 45 species of rare plants and flowers from Taiwan. Twenty-two varieties have been generalized for cultivation and seven featured products are in standardized mass production.

Besides wax apples, the park will also see a good harvest of mangos soon. It also has several tropical fruit planting zones for papaya, pitaya, and lemons.

Moreover, the Taiwan Farmers Venture Park has developed eco-agriculture and rural tourism in recent years relying on resource superiority. After several landscape enhancements, the walking path has been surrounded by precious trees and flowers such as crape myrtle, Chinese redbud, and tabebuia. The park also has several waterways offering sightseeing boating service.
