The Hengqin MixC World Exhibition Center was unveiled on April 23, offering a prelude of the massive assembly of retail, wholesale, business, leisure, and entertainment venues to come.

The occasion was the 2nd anniversary of what is formally known as the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Hengqin Area of Zhuhai. The Guangdong FTZ -- Nansha in Guangzhou, Qianhai and Shekou in Shenzhen, and Hengqin in Zhuhai -- was established to spur economic motivation. Each area is taking advantage of proximity to Hong Kong and Macao to mutually build the economy, foster closer relationships, attract high-end talent, and launch innovative startups.
Hengqin MixC World is fulfilling that promise as what will become "one of the most sustainable and integrated city centers in Southern China."
